Meet the Creator

Hi, I’m Paul

I was born in Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe, and now live in the United Kingdom. I’ve been hooked on flight simulation since Microsoft Flight Simulator 4.0, and that lifelong passion eventually became Air Rhodessa’s PG Hangar.

PG Hangar was created to help sim pilots discover the best — and avoid the worst — photogrammetry cities, scenery areas, night-flying locations, parks, maps and community-rated places to fly in MSFS 2024 and MSFS 2020.

Real Aviation

Two Bucket List Flights

I have been lucky enough to take the controls of a real aircraft twice, with the flights happening a couple of years apart. They were not part of formal PPL training or the start of a licence journey — they were simply two unforgettable aviation experiences and proper bucket list moments.

After years of loving aircraft, flight simulation and aviation in general, getting the chance to experience the real thing was something I will never forget. Those flights gave me an even greater appreciation for real-world flying, while also reminding me how special flight simulation is for people who simply love aviation from home.

Flight Sim Discovery

PG Hangar is a community-driven place for discovering photogrammetry cities, scenic areas, After Dark routes, tiny PG locations, parks, maps and useful add-ons across Microsoft Flight Simulator.

PG City Lists Rated photogrammetry cities for MSFS 2024 and 2020. After Dark Night flying picks, skyline routes and city lights. National Parks Scenic parks, mountains and low-level flying areas. PG Maps Coverage maps and route planning links.
