Here’s the short version. Build a route first, then make it your own.

⚡ 60-second start

1Start near — enter a place, region, World Update, airport name or ICAO code. Matching airports are shown as ICAO · Airport Name.
2Pick your time and the adventure types you want to see.
3Choose your aircraft and speed profile.
4Choose the route & airports — return to start or point-to-point, with 0–3 intermediate landings. Use the airport search boxes when you want a specific field.
5Optional: open Advanced Settings for preferred flight direction, glider runway filtering, World Update and rating choices. Then press Build My Adventure.
6Edit the result on the map or in the Flight Briefing, then save/share/export it.

↕Reorder sightseeing points

Use the ▲ / ▼ buttons beside each Flight Briefing card to move that point earlier or later. The route line, numbering, leg distances and estimated time recalculate automatically. Dragging a cyan manual waypoint changes its map position only — not its sequence.

🛬Intermediate & bush landings

Ask for 0–3 intermediate landings before building. Airport choices are filtered using the selected aircraft/class and available facility data. Use the new Search available departure/arrival airports boxes to find an ICAO/code or airport name inside the choices currently available to the Builder. Afterwards you can move, replace or remove a landing. Off-field Bush Landing points are user-selected and are not terrain/safety validated.

🧭Direction planning for gliders & lighter-than-air

In Advanced Settings, choose N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W or NW to keep the arrival airport on that general course from departure. Each arrival sector is 60° wide; for example East means approximately 060°–120°. Sightseeing points can deviate outside that narrow slice so the Builder can still create a useful scenic route. This is a planning aid, not live weather. Check or set the simulator wind yourself before flying. Select Glider first, then you can enable Glider-suitable runways only. This uses runway length/surface data as a heuristic only and does not confirm that real-world glider operations are permitted at the field.

🗺️Add things from the map

MAP STYLE: Switch between Standard and Topographic. Topographic adds contours and shaded relief to help plan a route through valleys and high terrain.
MAP LAYERS: Use the Show / Hide Nearby Airports and Show / Hide Nearby PG Hangar POIs buttons directly below the map.

EGLLBlue ICAO marker → click it → Add as Landing.

📍Nearby PG Hangar POI → click it → preview its screenshot and details → click the screenshot to enlarge it → Add to Route only if you want it.

WP01Add Waypoint → click the map and the Builder inserts it at the lowest-detour position in the complete route.

POI01Selected sightseeing point → click its gold route marker → its screenshot preview is available there too, and can also be enlarged.

×Remove a sightseeing point → use the red × below its ▲ / ▼ controls in the Flight Briefing, or click its route marker on the map and choose Remove from Route. A confirmation appears before anything is deleted.

WP01Remove a manual waypoint → choose Remove waypoint in the Flight Briefing or its map popup. The same confirmation box appears before deletion.

You do not select these manually. When a supported WU22 National Park or Scenic AOI route is generated, Adventure Builder automatically uses the PG Hangar’s curated sightseeing geometry.

Finish your edits first, then use Save, Share, download the briefing, or export the MSFS 2024 .PLN. Your current route order, intermediate landings, preferred direction and relevant aircraft settings are carried into the finished adventure.
