HOW TO USE
PG HANGAR EXPEDITIONS
Choose a journey. Explore every stop. Keep your progress with you.
Expeditions turn curated PG Hangar collections into long-term flying journeys. Work through stops in any order, send locations straight to Adventure Builder, mark places complete when you are satisfied you have explored them, and keep your progress synced across devices with your free PG Hangar account.
How Expeditions work
An Expedition is not a fixed flight plan. It is a curated collection of places to explore over time. The first live journey is the WU22 National Parks Expedition with 37 stops. Fly them in whatever order suits you and return whenever you like.
Unlock Expeditions
Anyone can open the Expeditions page and see what the feature offers, but starting and tracking a journey requires a free PG Hangar account.
If you are signed out, choose Log In to Unlock Expeditions. After signing in, the Hangar returns you to Expeditions automatically.
Tap or click a screenshot to enlarge it.
Choose your Expedition
Once signed in, your Expedition Board shows how many journeys are live, how many stops are available, how many you have completed and your overall progress.
Choose Start Expedition the first time. After that the page changes to Continue Expedition, taking you straight back to the active journey.
Browse, search and filter the journey
Inside the WU22 National Parks Expedition you can browse all 37 curated stops or narrow the collection to exactly what you feel like flying.
The search box can also find a park, state, airport or route reference, and the sort control lets you change how the cards are ordered.
Mark a stop complete — or Undo it
Every card has a Mark Expedition Stop Complete control. Use it when you are satisfied you have explored that location in the simulator.
Completed cards are clearly marked and the button changes to Completed · Undo. If you clicked it by mistake, Undo removes that completion and the change syncs back to your account.
Use Next Stop or Surprise Me
You never have to stare at 37 cards wondering where to go next. Next Stop moves you on through the Expedition, while Surprise Me lets the Hangar choose a stop for you.
Use the filters alongside these discovery tools when you want a more focused challenge — for example, only un-rated parks or only 10/10 locations.
Send it straight to Adventure Builder
The blue Build Adventure button on every Expedition card hands that exact location straight to the Adventure Builder.
Supported WU22 National Parks automatically use the PG Hangar's curated Scenic Corridor, so Adventure Builder follows the sightseeing geometry instead of simply drawing a straight line through the landscape.
Choose your aircraft, flying time and other preferences as normal, then build the route. The banner at the top confirms which Expedition stop was loaded.
Need help with the Builder? Open the Adventure Builder Visual GuideCross-device account sync
Expedition progress is saved locally first and then synchronised safely to your PG Hangar account. Sign into the same account on another browser or device and your completed stops follow you.
Both completion and Undo are synchronised. If you refresh the page, your active Expedition also remains open instead of dropping you back to the beginning.
Expeditions FAQ
Do I need a PG Hangar account?

Is the rest of the PG Hangar still free without an account?
Yes. Explorer, Adventure Builder, lists, maps and the core flying resources remain available without signing in.
